Ghost Rank 2.0 Penalized?
As per a very recent report Google, a few days back, had severely penalized an underground link network. It is assumed that the much renowned Ghost Rank 2.0 is one of the major underground links to be targeted now.
The report goes on to suggest that Google’s Matt Cutts had significantly dropped hints of a possible onslaught in his tweet- “Thinking of ghost-related puns for a spam network. They try to look super natural, but using them will dampen your spirits.”
Whereas it has been suggested that just after this update, a few webmasters had been found complaining about a weekend update from Google.
But it would be wrong to say that the report of the assumption of a particular update already released, is solely based on Matt Cutt’s tweet. In fact a part of the SEO industry is also fairly abuzz with the news of some of the clients being badly hurt by the update.
However, (as per available sources) it has not yet been confirmed that the entire episode has been linked with Ghost Rank 2.0. As per inside reports, the clients of Ghost Rank 2.0 were the ones to be penalized by the Google’s recent update, the most.
Even earlier Google had taken on underground links. Spam links had been the primary focus over the past few years in this regard. So it would only be interesting to watch out for the anticipated shift in SEO techniques in the near future? Is it at all Ghost Rank 2.0 that had been penalized by the weekend update in question? While one can keep on guessing, there are these available sources that strongly suggest the same. If you are someone keeping track of the Black Hat SEO trend you might as well be able to gauge the credibility of the reports.
